WWE has already begun the promotion of their upcoming PLEs for 2024. One of them happens to be Elimination Chamber ’24. The event will be the first PLE from WWE to take place in Australia after a long time. Their return to the island continent after more than half a decade is being welcomed greatly by the fans there.

Rhea Ripley’s role in securing tickets for Elimination Chamber ’24

The PLE is all set to take place in the city of Perth, Australia. Being an Australian herself, Rhea Ripley‘s presence at the venue could greatly affect the ticket sales for the event. So, as per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE is planning to send her and Dominik Mysterio over to the city this week and hopefully sell more tickets.

The same source also claims that so far, the show has sold 30,000 tickets and is growing. So, if this continues, it could be one of the biggest events for the promotion outside WrestleMania.

I followed up on this, and it caught some chuckles at WWE HQ. But I got some more info.

According to internal live event ticketing reports that some staff has access to, the show is already north of 30K tickets sold. They're sending Rhea Ripley and Dom to do media in Perth this… https://t.co/Z8bVdpL84o

But if the Stamford-based company is looking forward to using Mami as a ‘selling point’ for EC tickets, then they would also need to give her a pivotal role in the promotion’s upcoming PLE in Australia. Not only would this please the Australian audience but also set an opportunity for the company to return with an even bigger event next time.

So, what is a feud that WWE could set up with Rhea Ripley in mind to spark up the Australian audience?

Is Rhea Ripley’s first shot at Jade Cargill to happen at Elimination Chamber?

Nothing as of yet can be confirmed who Ripley would end up facing at Elimination Chamber in 2024. However, a good guess would be Jade Cargill. This is because ever since her signing with the Stamford-based company, Cargill has been excited to be the ‘dominator’ of the women’s division. Given the fact that WWE hasn’t yet made use of her talent, her first feud could be against “The Eradicator”

Since Elimination Chamber is still a couple of months away, WWE could use this time to introduce the former AEW star’s talent to the audience first. Considering the threat that Cargill had prepared for Ripley, we can assume that both fierce women would have a satisfying match in the squared-circle. This feud can also start something new for Mami that would reward the Australian audience for being at the event.
